The coffer

My house is a maze of decisions
Scattered behind the corners of days
Under my bed there´s a night sky of stars
Drunk with little paper memories

My room is a mess in a bottle of time
with a bet written inside for the tide
between me, myself and my infinity
that I can fall apart and be one again

But one thing I don´t know
What´s in that coffer over
my head, what is hiding inside?
I don´t have the key I keep on searching
For someone like me and I wonder

My walls are the color of children´s smile
Behind their sweet mandarins, and the sun
Of this rain warms me up from inside of
Some lonely thought of the night

But one thing I don´t know
What´s in that coffer over
my head, what is hiding inside?
I don´t have the key I keep on searching
For someone like me and I wonder

My old guitar lies on the wooden chair
And swings waiting for some words to fly
Up to notes to fill the day and the hearts
Of the neighbors I hope with some joy

But one thing I don´t know
What´s in that coffer over
my head, what is hiding inside?
I don´t have the key I keep on searching
For someone like me and I wonder

My life has no name, it´s pure freedom
Of forms through the roads of the world
Now I´m here and I learn and I long for more
For the love for the grace of living

But one thing I don´t know
What´s in that coffer over
my head, what is hiding inside?
I don´t have the key I keep on searching
For someone like me and I wonder

But one thing I don´t know
What´s in that coffer over
my head, what is hiding inside?
I don´t have the key I keep on searching
For someone like me and I wonder...

Danke lieber Chris... dass du liest und meinen Gedanken das Wort "dichten" gibst.
